Panagiotis Lalezas

Panagiotis was born in Kiato Corinthias and has been living in the village of Ancient Corinthos until today. His relationship with traditional music started from a very young age, which he heard daily from his father, a passionate and visceral singer. He recorded his first album as a child of nine years old and, at 47 today, has fifty. He has collaborated with almost all the great instrumentalists and singers: Koros, Vasilopoulos, Saragoudas, Zotos, Petroloukas, and Philippides. He has appeared on Greek national television hundreds of times since his childhood and has traveled to many countries. He has taught widely for the last fifteen years, from Epirus Polytechnic to Athens at Simonas Karas school, to delivering seminars at Berkeley College.
