Panagiotis Lalezas was born in Kiato, Corinthia and lives in the village of Ancient Corinthos. He grew up listening to his father, a passionate and visceral singer, and thus his relationship with music began from a very young age. He recorded his first album at the age of nine, and today has 50.
Panagiotis has collaborated with many great instrumentalists and singers, including Koros, Vasilopoulos, Saragoudas, Zotos, Petroloukas, and Philippides. He has appeared on Greek national television hundreds of times since childhood, and has traveled internationally. He has taught widely for the past 15 years, including at Epirus Polytechnic, Simonas Karas school in Athens, and seminars at UC Berkeley.
