Evgenios Voulgaris started his music training in 1985, receiving his diploma in Byzantine Music with Honors. Since 1995, he has been the leading mandolinist of the Orchestra of Colors. Voulgaris has an extensive teaching career, teaching at the following institutes: - Municipal Conservatory of Patras - School of Traditional Instruments - Bartholomeo and Patras Musical Schools - Department of Popular and Traditional Music at Epirus Technological Institute - Founder of the Ensemble of the Workshop of Eastern Music He has attended seminars at the Labyrinth Musical Workshops and alongside Fahrettin Cimenli and Murat Aydemir in Istanbul. In 2000, he founded the ensemble, Romioi, which won excellent critiques for its performances of Ottoman Music. He also released his album, Wanderings, in 2004.
