En este taller exploraremos las diferentes técnicas basicas del ud en el contexto de las tradiciones en las que ha tenido un papel preponderante a lo largo de la historia. Analizaremos tanto la interválica y la ornamentación como las técnicas de mano izquierda y derecha más recurrentes en los estilos árabe, turco, persa, armenio, azerí y griego, además del repertorio monofónico medieval europeo.
Este curso es para estudiantes que saben cómo sostener el ud y producir correctamente sonidos y notas básicas. Actuará como un resumen general de diferentes estilos y técnicas de ud.
Utilizaremos la afinación conocida como árabe, es decir: do-sol-re-la-sol-do/re, y partituras escritas en el sistema turco.
Exploraremos el siguiente contenido:
Modos (makam/maqam) turcos y árabes: Hicaz, Saba, Nikriz, Uşşak, Bestenigar, Evç, Kürdilihicazkar
Modos iraní y azerí: Shur, Chahargah, Humayun, Isfahan
El repertorio incluirá piezas turcas y otomanas, ilahis Mevlevi, tasnifs y rengs iraníes, rebetiko griego, y muwashahat árabes.
In this course we will explore the different basic techniques of the oud in the context of the traditions in which it has had a preponderant role throughout its history. We will analyze both the intervals and ornamentation as well as common left and right hand techniques in the Arabic, Turkish, Persian, Armenian, Azeri and Greek styles, in addition to the European medieval monophonic repertoire.
This course is for students who know how to hold the oud and correctly produce sounds and basic scales. It will act as a general overview to different oud styles and techniques.
We will use the tuning known as Arabic, that is: C-G-D-A-G-C/D, and scores written in the Turkish system.
We will cover the following content:
Turkish and Arabic Makam/Maqams: Hicaz, Saba, Nikriz, Uşşak, Bestenigar, Evç, Kürdilihicazkar
Iranian and Azeri modes: Shur, Chahargah, Humayun, Isfahan
Repertoire will include Turkish and Ottoman pieces, Mevlevi ilahis, Iranian tasnifs and rengs, Greek rebetiko songs, and Arabic muwashahat
